Just finished reading GHND and decided to che...Deb,<br />Just finished reading GHND and decided to check out your blog, as I often finish a major work craving just a little more from the author. <br /><br />This particular post struck me as I worked to calibrate the woman in the story with the woman I have known for only the last four years. <br /><br />It seems the bird may have struggled, alone, stunned by the impact of the window, frightened, but you came along and cared for it, like you do for so many and gave it just the encouragement and love it needed to get back up and keep going.
